Unfortunately we had a leak coming from our hot tub. We called Hot Springs and was told that it would be £140 for engineer to come and identify the problem and this would cover 1 hour of labour charge.My husband explained on the phone that the the level of water has stopped just below the moto massager jet. He was told to fill up the tub for the engineers arrival. The engineer arrived and the first thing he done was empty the tub, this was executed by emptying into a portable tub. Why had we been asked to fill spa when they needed to empty it? During this time the engineer spent most of it on his phone speaking to friends, these conversations were peppered with language I did not want to overhear and completely unprofessional. He sat in his van a lot of the time too and I had to run to find him when the hose came out of the portable tub and started flooding the garden. I also pointed out that the portable tub was leaking out onto our lawn, he said “yes that’s cause it’s full of holes”. Once the tub was empty he changed the stent in the moto massager and refilled the tub. No other checks or investigation was carried out.The whole process took 3 hours, when the tub was filled up he said that he was sure that would solve the problem but if not we were to use the bottle of ‘Fix a Leak’ he gave to us along with hand written note of instructions. He handed me his phone to pay the invoice of an additional £250.00 cost. I was shocked at the price but paid it anyway, thinking that at least the tub was now fixed.. I asked for a breakdown of costs and Gail said that this would be emailed. When we checked the tub the following day the level had gone down to where it was originally, the leak had not been fixed. I called Gail and she said that they only thought that the new stent would solve the problem… when i challenged her on the £140 call out to ID the problem she said “ yes maybe we shouldn’t offer this service as leaks can be a nightmare to find and we don’t like telling customers that it can often costs ££££ to detect and fix leaks” When I got the breakdown of invoice they had charged £82 for Fix a Leak a product that can be bought online for £40. £100 in extra labour charge, not a bad job if you can get it considering most of this time the ‘engineer’ spent it catching up on his social life. Gail said that 90% of the time Fix a Leak would solve the problem,,, so why not tell us that in the initial phone call? The notes that the engineer left were in contradiction to what the manufacturer recommends how to use the product. We asked for a refund on the money we had paid to sort the hot tub. In total we paid £390.00 to sort the tub, The tub is not sorted. We were told the only refund we would get was if we took the Fix a Leak back. Gail emailed to say that they would come back out remove the stent refund the cost of stent but no other costs and give us a quote to find the leak but warned it would be expensive. Well it was expensive enough in the first place and they did not find the leak! Poor service by the engineer,, poor customer service from Gail. We feel completely ripped off!Update … in reply to you answer Gail… you said you would come back to try and find the leak that we had already paid you for in the first instance. You wanted to charge us more money,,, your words were., it could end up costing thousands of pounds for us to find it… why would we allow you to come back when you have already been badly let down by you. You are complete rip off merchants…. Beware to anyone that uses your services!!!!

I would give no stars if called today as after a full service 4 weeks ago a board was fitted to ensure the jets in the pool worked and it heated....cue 4 weeks later the board is flashing and jets aren't working and it's not heating. Called and spoke to a very unhelpful Trish(refused to give her second name as she's the only Trish) who said after spending about £1000 to get the pool working again that it would be £164 just to have someone come out and look at it! Surely when they have done work 4 weeks ago and the board they have fitted is no longer working the call out charge should not be applied, I get the fact if further work is needed and its not to do with the board fitted then we would need to pay....but we don't know that yet! Wont even come and look at it without charging a fortune, and £164 is exactlt that right now.Absolutely shocking service when they have taken £1000 out of my very recently bereaved mothers pocket who only wanted the pool to keep her occupied and healthy! Thanks for hanging up on me Trish when I was asking questions and of course I'm going to speak up when you are talking over the top of me constantly.

Gail and Tracey were brilliant when we were purchasing our Propel tub. It's our first hot tub and we really weren't sure what to buy, but they answered all of our questions.The delivery date was also swiftly moved forward when requested.The delivery process was smooth. It's now time to learn a bit of chemistry and enjoy the tub.

Our hot tub installation was Covid delayed and needed loads of architect time. Our builders were fantastic but materials were hard to come by at times. However Gail and Lisa supported our activities and were always willing to help with great advice on many occasions through the process. The installation teams were fantastic, knowledgeable and caring. Well done to all at HotSprings Central.

Recently bought a hot tub from Hot Springs 18 months ago, after doing research online and finding that the came highly recommended i decided to give them call and visit the showroom. Upon purchasing a freshwater hot tub it then got delivered and installed by themselves and time was spent with myself and my wife on the workings of the hot tub. Since purchasing the hot tub we have had to contact the company on a number of occasions to ask for advice on the settings and general maintenance and during these discussions our experience has been amazing and nothing was too much hassle. It has been great to find a company prepared to go the extra mile to help their customers. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough, great work.

The hot tub itself is fantastic. A great quality product and reasonable to run, Unfortunately the delivery was not great as my composite decking was damaged and although I advised Hotspas Sterling there was no attempt to offer to fix it or offer compensation.

Absolutely love our TX model, purchased in September 2022. We only wanted a small one for the two of us and this fits perfectly into our garden. Quick and easy to empty and refill, been used at least twice every week since installed. Great customer service as well from staff, no hard sell and easy to deal with, lots of finance options. Staff explained what we needed to have done to have built up decking and local builders done it to a tee. After Care been great with any queries. Definitely would recommend!

The Team at Tillicoultry and Edinburgh are absolutely amazing. I've had my Hot Tub for over a year now and I am so happy I decided to go with Hot Springs. I was a fairly difficult customer as I couldn't quite make my mind up but the staff at Tillicoultry never once made me feel rushed into making a decision.Its quite a big purchase so I really wanted to be sure I was getting a hottub that was not only reliable over the long term, but also economical enough to run continuously not matter what the outside temp is.Now i've had it for long enough, i can happily say that the insulation of the tub is great. In the recent snow, the tub cover was the first thing the snow lay on and it was also the last thing to melt - so even though the water inside is a lovely 38 degrees, there is none of that temp escaping to the outside. I am in the Hot Tub AT LEAST once a day, so we are really getting our moneys worth.Edit: This year we decided to splash out on a swim spa. After TONS of research we realised that the Endless Pool model sold by Hot Springs Central was the best swim experience out there. Once again, from start to finish Gail and her team have shown exceptionally professionalism and skill. The swim spa is just installed and looking just amazing!. I would have no problem in recommending Hot Springs Central to everyone looking for a Hot Tub or Swim Spa.One important (to me) note: Ive had loads of builders round recently doing work on the house. They NEVER clean up after themselves. They always leave roof tiles, plumbing, cables lying around for me to clean up after they have left. But when the Hot Springs Central team installed the swim spa, they left the place looking tidier than it had been when they turned up! Even swept the grass down! Very impressive!

Having done some extensive research beforehand and the knowledge of the product shared by Gail and Tracey, it made the decision much easier complemented by the wonderful buying experience. One year on we are still enjoying the tub as much, with the comfort of the ongoing support from all including Lisa.

Both Audrey and I want to thank you for all your help and assistance regarding our hot tub over the past year. You have been nothing but helpful since I originally spoke to you on the phone, then came to the show room where we were shown the options available. As a couple with a young family you provided us with several hot tub options that you personally felt we would find both appealing and beneficial. This made our final choice a relatively simple one, which made our experience of purchasing our hot tub, very pleasurable.

The delivery of the hot tub was stress-free, with competent, friendly and experienced HotSpring employees who took the time to explain how to maintain the hot tub to ensure we got the full enjoyment from our experience. This was followed with a courtesy call to ensure we were happy with the installation. You also insisted that if we ever needed any further assistance maintaining the correct chemical balances etc. you are only a call away.

As you know we visited other hot tub suppliers where we felt the sale was all that mattered to these other companies. Due to those experiences, we almost stopped pursuing wanting to be a hot tub owner. We are glad we persevered as we use our hot tub as we intended it, to relax and enjoy as a whole family. Having had several Hot Tubs in my lifetime since they become popular I can confirm with experience that my HotSprings hot tub purchased from Gail & Eric does what it says on the tin and that is! It does run at the small premium cost and I do not see any significant increase in my electricty bills. I bought my first tub in 1999 at a show in the SECC in Glasgow and after my first Electric Bill I switched it off. So after putting out over 7K for it I eventually gave it away. I bought my recent hot tub from Gail in February 2008 and have had no problems with it and my recomendation is Service It Regularly and I’m sure it will last a lifetime! Eric looks after my tub and it just runs like a swiss watch. Nothing seems to trouble Gail or Eric and they keep a great range of accessories & chemicals on hand and there is nothing better after a shift in the garden especially in severe cold weather than a long soak with a red wine, bubbles & all, I say to many people. Just keep your car once paid and invest in a Hot Tub. The best of both worlds is then at your fingertips.

My Sovereign hot tub was delivered on the best weekend ever of the year 25th May. I would like to thank Gail and Eric for their very professional advice and the time spent visiting me making sure I chose the right hot tub for me. I’m very pleased with the hot tub and with the team that did the installation. They were great, polite, explained what they were doing, demonstrated how the spa worked and cleaned up well afterwards. They did very well to get the old hot tub out with minimum removal of the decking and put it all back afterwards. You couldn’t tell the difference between before and after!

We had our hot tub serviced and mended on Saturday (new lid, new lid lifting mechanism, etc.)  and I want to tell you how pleased we are with the result. You said it would look like new, and the hot tub is now sparkling!

Also, would you please note that we were incredibly impressed with the service engineer who came out on Saturday. He not only did a fantastic job, he did it in the most appalling weather possible. And he didn’t grumble once! All I had to do was supply him with cups of tea, which was the least I could do. He was with us for around 5 1/2 hours, in constant pouring rain and he was marvellous. (And I don’t even know his name but he deserves a bonus)

We were both very apprehensive about the process of buying a hot tub but after investigation on the net and numerous visits to different suppliers we ended up at HotSpring in Tillicoultry. The moment we stepped into the showroom we felt a totally different atmosphere. We received expert friendly advice with no over-pushy sales technique. Any questions asked were answered in easy-to-understand terms. We felt totally at home. Again every aspect of the installation and after care was carefully explained. But again with no hard-sale tactics. As installation day came closer both Anna & Gail kept us up-to-date with what the procedure would be. We also had the added complication of having to hire a crane. Anna & Gail again made sure everything was double-checked and the hot tub would be delivered on time. The delivery process was thankfully smooth. Our installation team were superb, taking time to make sure you understand exactly what you should be doing and when. Again Anna & Gail were also at the end of the phone to sort out an teething problems with chemicals etc. Initally I thought the chemicals would be very complicated – how wrong was I !!! We did have a problem with our spa audio system – this was swiftly resolved with one phone call to Sterling. An engineer’s visit was booked and the problem was swiftly rectified. I also received a follow-up call to confirm everything was to our satisfaction. All the people we have meet from HotSpring have been superb. Very professional and the aftercare service has been second to none! I have, and will continue to, recommend HotSpring as the best place to buy a hot tub.

Having researched the hot tub market we decided on a HotSpring hot tub after having visited Anna at Sterling Furniture centre. She did not try to give us a hard sell, but was able to answer our questions in a very professional manner from her obviously extensive knowledge of the product,and made it very plain that her help did not end when the tub was installed.
She discussed our requirements and suggested the Sovereign model and gave us her mobile number on which we could contact her even after office hours – service indeed!

After our purchase, and just prior to delivery, we revisited and were given very thorough instructions by her on the chemicals and their measurement.

I wanted to say “thanks” for all the help as I invested in my first Hot Tub! We bought pre-owned as a way in but boy was it a good move. The interior is as new and the exterior is as any new one will be with a few months of the Scottish elements. It is all true, economical running costs, quiet motor etc etc, but the piste de la resistance has to be the excellent after-sales service from the girls at Sterling Tillicoultry and the service team, unbelievable and oh so unusual these days. I phoned yesterday to say the hot tub was leaking and Eric, the engineer, arrived at approx 4.30pm on a Sunday. He left at 9.10pm. Throughout his visit he displayed knowledge of his product, sense of humour and courtesy. Not once did Eric show any negativity and he must have been tired, hungry and was definately wet by the time he left. Ten out of ten to Eric, very refreshing in this day of ‘I can’t be bothered attitudes’. Thank you Eric.!

Thought l would drop you a wee note re our hot tub. You have no idea what a god send this hot tub has been to us. Graeme, my son, was sitting his finals at Edinburgh University and things got pretty tough. What do you do when things get tough. Jump in the hot tub of course. We also had some really bad family news and sometimes I find it all too much for me.

When l get home in the evening l put my brother’s music on and sit quietly in the hot tub.

We have it inside so l can tell you honestly for me it has been for me the best thing l’ve ever bought. l find you can gather your thoughts and it also helps me to relax and get some sleep at night. We thought about a hot tub for a few years but there was never enough money in the potty. So anyone thinking about buying one can take it from me you will be completely delighted and, like me, wonder why you didn’t do it before.”

Ok where do we start? Lorna, Anna and Gail, what a great bunch of ladies. So friendly and welcoming, you couldn’t ask for nicer people and they are a real asset to this company. Gordon and Jim, the guys who installed it, were just a couple of nice blokes. The girls had explained everything to us before we bought and the guys explained it all over again, including going through how we should look after our hot tub..

Glad you liked the picture of our hot tub in its location and being used for my grand daughter’s 14th ‘hot tub’ birthday party – the party was a great success with her and her friends.

Well the story behind our purchase of our HotSpring Jetsetter hot tub is a bit unusual as we were actually visiting the Sterling store to purchase a new three-piece suite. We went into the HotSpring showroom and suffice to say when we left, Anna and the hot tub had convinced us that we would be better buying a hot tub rather than the new suite.

It is a decision, coming up for 4 years now, that neither my wife Jan or I have ever regretted, not even for one minute.

The pleasure we get from the tub is fantastic, when we were both working in reasonably high pressure jobs it helped us to unwind and de-stress after difficult days at work. Now that we have retired it helps ease the aches and pains that come with age. We have often come home from a late night out and gone into the hot tub as we find it a perfect way to relax, especially when sipping a tequila sunrise watching the stars.

I would definitely recommend a HotSpring hot tub.

The reason we chose HotSpring is because we believe they are the very best on the market especially in terms of filtration, simple maintenance and economy in running costs. We believe that very many of our guests choose to stay with us because of the hot tub and it is very well used by everyone. We have recommended to many guest that on returning home it is HotSpring they should be looking at, rather than any other make.!

Thanks very much for the advice, help and support in our recent purchase of a HOT TUB, this was much appreciated. Great North Lodges are a group of luxury individually owned lodges in and around the Aviemore area. Our latest lodge, 5 Star Mountain Bear Lodge, was built last year to great acclaim. We wanted a Hot Tub to be included as a feature of this luxury lodge, so Anna at HotSpring was contacted, where our specific requirements were met in a professional and friendly manner. As a result our first Hot Tub was delivered and commissioned. We were well looked after, especially with continued technical back up.

Just a wee note to let you know that we got our hot tub up to temperature yesterday. We went out in the afternoon and bought a nice Patio Awning to go over it and it looks fantastic. We are so chuffed with it, my neighbour came into the back garden for a wee nosy and she said its like a mini ? Hollywood. We were in it twice yesterday, because we went back in last night about 9.30pm when it was dark just to get the effect of the lights and it is just amazing. If I had won thousands on the lottery at the weekend I couldn’t have been happier than I was last night relaxing in it. So glad we went for it. We felt so relaxed when we came out, it is just one of the best buys we have ever made.

So thanks for all your help with it and the guys who came to fit it were brilliant, very glad we came to you. Thanks again.
